K: En Avance has long been a shopping destination in Miami starting on Lincoln Road back in the early days. But Karen must have some pioneering spirit in her because she’s recently restaked her claim in the just-beginning-to-percolate Design District. Tucked in amongst the furniture and home design showrooms you’ll find her loft-like store filled with gorgeous clothing. I was particularly smitten with the Robert Rodriguez line including its black label of evening wear. The next time I’m in town for Art Basel attending something swank I won’t bother to pack but will head straight here.
