K: Sometimes good things just fall into your lap. In our case, Jan, Jon and I were driving around in circles in Coral Gables when we happened upon Architectural Antiques. From the moment we walked through the door, we collectively knew we loved this place—how could anyone deny the appeal of a life-sized dinosaur head juxtaposed against a chandelier that looks like it came out of some ‘60s-era Miami hotel ballroom. This place is a quirky museum of objects both big and small, but a museum that you can buy from which makes it my type of place.
