Throughout the 6 week festival there are classes, workshops, showcases, films and parties, all dedicated to the art and culture of dance. This celebration is not limited to one venue and will be held in various local places like the Colony Theater, Miami Beach Botanical Garden, the Byron Carlyle Theatre and the Bass Museum of Art, among others.

Now in its eighth year, the festival has become quite a large event. If you are in Miami between April 2nd and May 15th, check the schedule (link: http://www.momentumdance.com/schedule/) to find an event, show or class to attend.

Tickets for each show range from $10 to $35, depending on venue and availability. Classes are offered at an intermediate level and are $15 in advance or $20 at the door, also depending on available space.
